Negative Effect Of Sporting Bet In Nigeria

With high rate of recession in the country, many people are now turning to sporting site and casino to make money. Though am not against the idea of sporting betting but am just looking at the negative part. The effect of it on our youth and adult, even teenagers are not left out. A friend of mine told me a story of another friend who just collected his salary and decide to branch too one of the betting site which i will not like to mention.He said he started with the casino, place a bet of ₦100 on the dogs, he won and decided to place another bet and this time for real he lost. And he continue to lose and lose until he exhausted all his salary on the adapter. After the story, i now ask myself, is this how we the youth of this generation will be living.i said to myself gambling is not an option I truly wish the Government should put a program in place to minimize the growing rate of this companies, so that the youth can have a better future not only in Nigeria but the whole world.  

                                        NEGATIVE EFFECT OF BETTING

1. Waste of time
2. If you lose, you will be emotionally depress
3. It is Gambling, therefore against the will of God
4. If you lose, you will also lose your money
